Beautiful skies over Marion Airport as gliders took to the air. Things got going a little before noon and it was a busy Sunday with 14 flights, including 5 guest rides. There was good lift to be found to about 4500’ - cloud base, with several flights lasting well over an hour. The 1-26, 1-34, and both 2-33s flew. by 5pm the clouds and lift was dissipating, many thanks to Mark Martin for the guest rides, Jared for instruction flights, and Cheryl for towing.
