Our fees for tows, instruction, glider rental, and introductory flights are some of the lowest, not just in Ohio, but pretty much anywhere.
Pricing
$5 Flight Instruction
Per flight instruction cost is ridiculously low.
Flight instruction is provided by COSA volunteer CFIGs (Certified Flight Instructor Glider). Instructional flights typically last 20 – 30 minutes, with approximately 40 flights needed to reach the solo stage of training.
$7-13 Glider Rental
per flight
Our training gliders are beloved.
All of our gliders are flown every weekend, maintained meticulously, and loved by the whole club.
$12 Glider Tows per 1K ft.
Tows are provided by our members.
Oh, and they’re also certified pilots.
Tows are typically to 3000 feet AGL (Above Ground Level) while you’re learning to become a glider pilot.
$100 Introductory Flight
COSA offers gliders rides to the general public every Saturday and some Sundays during the summer and fall, weather permitting. All flights are with a Commercial Rated Glider Pilot or Certified Glider Flight Instructors. Introductory flights are typically to 3000 ft and last about 17~22 minutes.
$300 Initial Membership Fee
Plus a $200 deposit towards training, tows, and glider rentals—plus $21.75 for tax.
Monthly membership fee is $25.
