Introductory Flights

Get a taste of soaring.

Even if you’re not ready for full flight instruction, you can experience the joy of flying in a glider through an introductory flight. To sign up for an introductory flight, all you have to do is show up at the airfield around 1pm most Saturdays and some Sundays and get your name on the sign-up sheet.  All flights are first-come, first-serve. Contact us to make sure we’re flying the day you’d like to come..

Introductory Flight Cost: $100​

Note: All aircraft have weight and balance requirements. Max weight for a passenger is 240 pounds.

Introductory flights are not instructional flights. Instruction is only available to club members.

Note: We are suspending glider rides for the general public thru September. We will do intro rides for those serious about joining and pursuing a glider rating. The cost will be $100.
