Today was a little windy, but turned out to be a great soaring day in Marion. Winds started out strong, and with 7/25 temporarily closed, we flew off 13 with direct crosswind.. But it was well worth a little crosswind as the thermals were strong—in excess of 600ft./min up. There were 10 flights total, 1 BFR, and a guest ride—all in Sugar. Thanks to Mark for instructing, John for providing the tows, and all who came out.
