Today started out with practice flights for Leigh and Chris’s upcoming check rides. 200 foot rope breaks, no altimeter landings, no spoiler landings. As lift started to develop members took flight in both 2-33s and Schoolbus—enjoying plentiful thermals and altitudes of 6000 ft. After the flying was done, Sugar was disassembled and loaded onto the trailer for delivery to Elmira for new bushings to be installed. Thanks to all who came out, the tows, and the help getting Sugar ready for transport.
