Soaring in Marion today started out with 8 kt. winds as we were getting setup. However, the winds quickly picked up. There were only a few flights by the time we had to call the day due to winds in excess of 20 kts. The winds were making takeoffs and landings tricky and the conditions were also difficult in the air. Thanks to John for towing and Mark for instructing.
