Club members arrived mid morning and began to get setup for the day and by 11 we were flying. Turned into a fantastic soaring day despite some high cirrus in the mid afternoon. There were strong thermals (6-7 kt+), plentiful cumulus, and a cloud base that rose over the day to 5000’+. 14 flights in total including 1 instruction flight, 5 private glider flights and 1 guest ride. All club gliders flew except for Hotel. By 5pm we closed up for the day. Thanks to all who came out, John and Joe for towing, Jared for instruction and the guest ride.
