Beautiful day of soaring today in central Ohio. Gliders flights started a little later in the morning than usual, and it got busier and busier as the day went on. Lots of folks came out and John and Milt were fantastic giving tows in rapid succession. Mark instructed in the morning and gave a few intro rides. There was nice lift until about 3pm when some cloud cover started to dampen the plentiful thermals, but folks were still able to find nice areas of lift until about 5-5:15pm when all gathered for the cook out over by the T-hangars. Jared Granzow landed out at Ashland County Airport and did an aero tow retrieve (see video below). Happy 4th of July COSA!
