This was a frigid, but beautiful day for glider flying. Starting the day at 4° F, we preheated a tow plane and Mike H shoveled out the snow in front of the main hangar. Sugar and the 1-26 flew with one student and five members completing a total of 16 flights. Conditions were just right so that the tow plane created a contrail as it passed through 1000ft AGL. Quite a neat sight from the ground and from the glider on tow! Thanks to Mark for instructing and Jared for completing all of the tows.
