After a few weekends with bad flying conditions, folks had been eyeing the forecast looking forward to flying today. The day started with Dave Dalby flying first, but clouds were low and it was decided to wait to see if the cloud cover would lift. It didn’t look likely so we put all aircraft back into the hangar. A few members left while others stayed to talk.

To everyone’s surprise, within an hour after closing up shop the clouds actually cooperated and blue gaps could be found. We decided to try flying and were able to conduct numerous flights. Chris O (me) got checked out from the back seat of Sugar, Phaedra flew with Jared and also solo’d, and Nick rallied us all to finish 17 flights for the day. That brings our total for the year to exactly 1100 flights. Many thanks to Jared and John for towing.
