A great soaring day. 20 flights in total. Mark reached 7300 MSL. George reached 7100. Kaz got to 6500, which is a personal record for him. If it weren’t for the thunderstorm, Scott and Kaz could’ve kept going in the 103 and the Cirrus. They were in a gaggle together for maybe 20 minutes chatting on the radio trying to find the center. Both had nothing but lift when it was time to come down. Thomas Kent and Kaz flew in the 103 together for 89 minutes up to a cloud base of 5900 earlier in the day. A couple guests also got their monies worth. Phaedra worked on maneuvers in anticipation of her upcoming checkride..
