Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23rd 2022
Saturday a few members came out to fly despite not having a great day forecasted. There turned out to be some lift and there were 6 flights total with the 1-34, 1-26, and Sugar. Thanks to John for towing. We ended up calling it a day by 2pm as a storm system was moving in from the west.
Sunday Nick and myself used Nick’s awesome detailing products to spot clean, polish, wax, and finish spray the green tow plane. I ended up leaving about noon, Nick stayed to finish and Mark came up to work on hangar doors that needed attention. 65 Uniform is looking mighty pretty now.
