Soaring season has officially begun in Ohio! Thermals began popping at noon with cumulus clouds showing to the southeast. 11 flights in total were completed today including 3 private ships, Sugar, 1-26, 1-34, and the Cirrus. Members recorded flight times of over two hours and reached altitudes of around 5,500AGL. Thermals were abundant allowing each pilot to venture away from the airport at their leisure without much trouble. We closed up shop at around 5:30pm. Thanks to Chris Varvarosky and Cheryl Beineke for towing today!
