Today started slow, but around 12:30 indications of thermals started to show. The forecasts held true and cloud bases steadily rose throughout the day peaking at about 10,000AGL around 5pm although flights were done by 4pm. There were four flights today; two in the Cirrus (Nick and Corso), one in the 103 (Corso), and Joe Simmers brought out his beautiful ASW 27. Nick was able to reach 8600MSL around 2pm and landed just over 3 hours after takeoff for a new personal duration and altitude record. Joe adventured on his own for 3 hours as well to unknown destinations. Corso dabbled in a couple different aircraft for his two flights.

Huge thanks to John Stefanick for saving the day by being willing to tow!
